Bring a piece of history to your leathercraft with our "Join or Die" Delrin leather stamp. This iconic design, originally created by Benjamin Franklin in 1754, symbolizes unity in the face of adversity—a sentiment as powerful today as it was during the early days of America. The stamp features the segmented snake from Franklin's famous political cartoon, each section representing the American colonies, urging them to unite or face destruction.
Crafted from high-quality Delrin, this stamp is both durable and precise, allowing for consistent and detailed impressions on your leather projects. Ideal for adding a historical and patriotic touch to wallets, belts, or other leather goods, this stamp brings the spirit of resilience and independence to your work.
If you are someone who appreciates powerful symbols, the "Join or Die" leather stamp will inspire your craft and evoke the legacy of unity. Stamp your leather with a reminder that, together, we are stronger—join, or die.
Our Delrin Acetal Resin stamps are made from high-quality materials sourced in California, USA. We use 1/2” (12.70mm) cast material and our 100 watt laser to create stamps with super high resolution for the best quality and longevity. We can produce stamps from nearly any image or artwork you supply us with, and we can also hand draw custom logos, maker’s marks, or other art.
Our stamps have been tested to leave highly detailed impressions in leather from 3 ounce up to 16 ounce without any issue. They can be used repetitively in our choice of a 1 ton hand press, or even up to a 20 ton hydraulic press. All stamps have characteristics to consider when choosing a press or application method, but the resin we use has a tensile strength of 9,000 lbs.
If you choose a mallet application type, please note that it is more volatile to the tool. If your stamp has very small features, take extra care to get the most out of it. The mallet application type will require the use of a Hefty Handle, which can be purchased on our website.
