If you're looking for laser etching or cutting, we can help! We offer etching services on many of our items, and can provide advice on the types of materials that are safe to use. We can also etch monograms, names, quotes, and images into your items, and you can watch the process unfold in real time. If you'd like to add custom etching to your item, please make sure to note this during checkout. All products that have the option for laser etching will have a custom option or note in the item detail page.

The answer depends on the materials needed. We have a high standard for where we source materials, so we try to find local businesses that meet our requirements. Supporting our local community is essential to our success. Typically, we look for a smaller company that guarantees quality, sources materials responsibly, and conducts business ethically with respect to the environment and the community.

Yes, we offer bulk discounts on many products. We will indicate that discount pricing is available on eligible items on the product information page. Handmade items that require significant labor to complete are the only products for which we do not offer a wholesale or bulk price.

The Six Elements Workshop has adopted a standard to provide our customers and community with consumable materials only when absolutely necessary. For example, when creating bath products that could cause a health concern if dropped due to broken glass, or when producing products that require plastic or aerosol sprays, we may use materials that could be harmful to the environment. We take our environmental footprint seriously, though, and strive to reuse packaging, create packaging in-house, and source raw materials ethically and from organic sources. We do not use GMO products, nor do we use products with excessive preservatives or any by-products that could cause harm. If you ever have a question about our products, or if you would like to suggest alternatives that could help us adopt new practices, we would love to hear from you.

Absolutely. We have entrusted our store to a top-rated and very secure backend for order processing and payment capture. We force our website into a secure state anytime personal, payment, or order information is being processed and displayed. Our website is as secure as a bank, so you can rest assured when using it.

All custom-created or commissioned items are non-refundable, unless expressly approved by the workshop. Items approved for return may be subject to a reduced refund to cover shipping or reselling costs. If an item is not customized and can be resold in its original state, customers may request a return within 30 days of purchase. Customers are responsible for 100% of return costs, unless the product is being returned due to a manufacturing defect or workshop workmanship.

Our workshop is licensed for business in Washington State. Due to the legal theft of the State, all orders placed for addresses inside of the state are subject to sales tax. If you are outside of the state, you should not see sales tax applied, unless there is a state mandate to collect tax on the sale of that particular item.

We typically aim to ship items within one week. If the item is in stock, we may be able to ship it within the next business day. Since 2020, the availability of raw materials used in our items has been inconsistent, resulting in longer shipping times. As of 2023, we are now often backlogged by about one week, so your order may take anywhere from one to two weeks to ship due to high demand for our products and the time needed to create custom work. For custom items, the time frame will depend on complexity, material availability, and order size. If there is any delay that we think you should be aware of, we will contact you as soon as possible to provide an updated estimated time of arrival.

Yes, you can place orders on our website and expect to receive them if you are an international customer. However, some items that we make in the workshop may be subject to prohibitive costs and customs-related issues, so please be aware of the laws governing your area and what you can expect to receive without issue from the US. We cannot be held liable for refunds if your items are confiscated by your local government.

The workshop is environmentally conscious and finds that the condition of the exterior box used for shipping does not affect the quality of the item(s). We attempt to re-use any boxes we receive materials in, and use any packaging that contains plastics multiple times, all in an effort to sustain our planet for future generations of makers and customers. To date, we have re-used 75% of our packing materials, only using 15% in new materials.
